SOUND,
CRAFT...

I'm at my happiest when I'm doing.
Recently, this has involved reconnecting with musical performance and production, then pairing each track with its own visual counterpart: short films and music videos that serve as both creative outputs and technical case studies. This dual-track approach allows me to constantly explore and upskill, and I gain deep satisfaction and insight from the process.
My most recent research
has involved exploring how emerging AI filmmaking tools can be meaningfully integrated into traditional VFX and production pipelines while maintaining a premium visual result. That exploration culminated in my short The Elephants of Avalon Beach. This project has reshaped my approach to traditional filmmaking, and I’m energized by the ever-evolving toolset.
Currently,
I’m in production on a new short film for my track Criminal (see below). This project experiments with Gaussian Splatting, Consistent AI Character Generation, and how to integrate this and push the capabilities of the VOLUME stage.
